"Good morning, nice to see you. How you been? The beginning of another lovely day." Good Morning -Lenny Kravitz
Good morning! Hungry? I am! Day two’s breakfast, is a slider… BUT, not of the burger variety! With these lovelies, you can cater to your picky little bunch’s taste buds with toppings of their choice. Among my three, I have meat lovers, cheese haters and a budding vegetarian. You DEFINITLEY cannot go wrong with making everyone happy with these. I started cooking, finished assembling, popped them in the fridge, and had the kitchen clean in about 35 minutes. When you wake up in the morning, drizzle with a little melted butter, throw those little guys in the oven and TADA, hot, yummy, breakfast goodness. Make sure to wrap and freeze whatever does not get eaten and there you go…sliders for days!
What you will need:
9x10 casserole dish
Non-stick cooking spray
Skillet
Ingredients: (Printable version below)
1 18 pack of Hawaiian Rolls (if the sweetness bothers you, get a savory roll – but trust me on this, these are soo good)
1 package pork or turkey sausage (or if you really want a short cut, get those pre-cooked sausage patties)
5-6 eggs (scrambled)
Splash of milk
Salt and Pepper to taste
4 slices of American cheese
¼ c Butter
Instructions:
Pre-heat oven to 350*
Cook sausage patties in a skillet till centers are no longer pink
Mix eggs, milk and add salt and pepper (my other secret is a pinch of onion powder for extra flavor)
Scramble eggs
Cut rolls in half and place bottoms in a prepared 9x13 casserole dish
Top with sausage patties (or bacon, ham, veggies, etc)
Add a scoop of scrambled egg to each slider
Quarter cheese slices and add to the top
Place slider tops on the prepared sandwiches
(If you are making the night ahead, wrap with foil and place in the refrigerator till morning)
Melt Butter and brush on sandwich tops
Cook in 350* oven for 15-20 min or until till tops start to brown and sandwiches are warmed. (If the tops are cooking to fast, cover with foil and continue to cook until centers are warm)
To Reheat: wrap in a paper towel for 30-45 seconds

Yummmm! Definitely gonna be making these for my kiddos! Thanks for the idea
